I am frustrated and vexed. I am frustrated that our govt has not created and put in place personal protective equipment trash bins throughout the province. I am vexed with a green sheen attempt by RECYC-QUÉBEC. RECYC-QUÉBEC, on their website, lists 4 enterprises that apparently recycle PPE such as masks. I suggest before you use their mask collecting services you read the fine print. In my opinion, these enterprises are not transparent at all. RECYC-QUÉBEC must think the exact same thing about them: "À noter que cette liste de récupérateurs ne constitue pas un avis, une recommandation ou quelconque garantie de la part de RECYC-QUÉBEC." which translates to "Please note that this list of collectors does not constitute an opinion, a recommendation or any guarantee on the part of RECYC-QUÉBEC."

Yesterday, I picked up off the street, mask number 12,005. I equally picked up from off the street, glove number 1211. I saw 2 masks but, I decided not to touch them. Can you guess where those masks were? There is a mask wrapped around the antenna of the car. For those of you who want to listen to my radio interview with the wonderful and well-voiced Marie Griffiths from Tuesday, 5th 2021. The recording is fuzzy and scratchy but I sure was happy that they sent me what they had. English will follow
Le gouvernement fournira des millions de masques aux étudiants. Plus de masques qui finiront dans la nature. Des études ont montré que les masques chirurgicaux ne s'adaptent pas correctement au visage des enfants. The government will provide millions of masks to students. More masks that will end up in our natural environment. Studies have shown that surgical masks do not fit properly on children's faces. |
